Samsung launches slimmest Tablet, Galaxy Tab S2 for INR 39400

Korean electronics giant and leading smartphone company Samsung launched its new tablet the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 in India for Rs 39,400/- . The tablet is touted as world's slimmest tablet measuring just 5.6 mm in terms of thickness. The tablet is equipped with a 9.7 inch quadHD Super Amoled display with a screen ratio of 4:3 making it one of the best tablets for reading and browsing. 

The company claimed the device to be super slim and ultra light weighing just 392 grams. The elegant adaptive display changes its brightness as per the environmental conditions and dedicated Reading mode adjusts the display such that users can read for longer durations without straining their eyes. For heavy users the device comes preloaded with Microsoft office solutions to work on the go which  is further supported by a 100GB cloud storage on One drive which is free for 2 years.

The tablet houses 32 GB internal memory which can be further expanded upto 128 GB via micro SD card. The device runs on Exynos Octacore processor supported by 3 GB RAM,  a touch enabled finger print sensor on the board helps with hassle free authentication. Other sensors includes Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, Hall Sensors, RGB sensor. The device is fuelled by a massive 5,870 mAh battery to keep it alive for full day. 

On camera front the device sports a 8 MP autofocus rear camera with large aperture which is said to deliver 60% brighter photos. For selfie lovers there is a 2.1 MP camera on the front.  

Priced at Rs. 39,400/- for consumers, the Galaxy Tab S2 will be available in three colors, Gold, Black and White. During launch period, Tab S2 consumers will get 2GB of 4G data per month free, for two months on Airtel’s Network.

In India, the Galaxy Tab S2 comes pre-loaded with Galaxy gifts worth Rs. 31000+ by offering access to latest applications related to News, Entertainment & Productivity. Under this, there are various apps which are otherwise paid but offered for free with Galaxy Tab S2 for a limited period.
