Micromax, one of the top players of Indian handset market today launched next iteration of its Canvas Nitro smart phones named Cavas Nitro 4G for Rs 10,999/- . The smartphone from Micromax runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Canvas Nitro 4G sports a 5 inch HD IPS display with oleophobic coating protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which is norm now a days for almost all devices from Micromax.
The Canvas Nitro 4G runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 1.4 GHz Octa core processor, supported by 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. On storage front the device comes with 16 GB storage on board which can be further expanded upto 32 GB via micro SD card.
The phone comes with a 13 MP autofocus rear camera with 5P lens supported by a dual LED flash for low light conditions and 5 MP front camera. The device is powered by a mediocre battery of 2500 mAh , which should keep the phone active throughout the day as claimed by the company. On connectivity front as the name suggests the device supports 4G LTE networks along with the usual connectivity options such as Bluetooth, wifi, Micro USB and 3.5 mm audio jack connectivity.
