Design:
OPPO Mirror 3 is mid range device but you will feel like holding a premium device once you hold it in your hands. We have got white variant of the phone and the moment we took it out of the box, the look and feel was just awesome. We generally start from the front and display, but this time we will start from the back side as it is what holds the beauty of the phone.

The back cover is as stylish and premium as it can be. The polka dot design adds into the design element. The phone's design is similar to that of Find 7 with slightly rounded corner design. The back is made up of plastic with anti scratch coating. Rear Camera is situated in middle and is supported by LED flash situated just below it. Looking down further you will see OPPO branding. At the bottom there is a speaker grill.

On the front there is an earpiece on top centre, left to which there is front camera and array of other sensors. 4.7 inch IPS display with 312 ppi pixel density provides vivid colors and wide angle viewing is not a problem at all. Below the display there are three capacitive touch buttons which are multitasking, home and back placed in same order. Front is surrounded by metallic ring which makes it look more stylish and elegant.
Left edge of the phone is left void of any buttons while right edge holds the volume rockers and power button, volume rockers are placed above the power button which is situated just above the middle of the side. Buttons placement is good and easy to handle.
On top of the phone you will see 3.5 mm audio jack on right side, and IR emitter placed in middle for Smart Remote Control feature, bottom of the phone has micro USB slot and mic.
Software, features and Performance:
OPPO Mirror 3 runs on Color OS 2.0 which is built on top of Android 4.4, the new version of Color OS brings a lot of improvement in it. User Interface is simple to use and further customization is possible to suit consumers requirement.
The device comes with Smart Remote Technology 2.0+ which makes the phone a universal remote, we have tested the remote for Sony TV and Dell projector and it works fine, if your brand is not listed then you can copy your remote manually and use it.
As expected the device also comes with fast charging feature, which allows it to get full charge in 90 just 90 minutes.
Powered by quad core processor from Qualcomm and supported by 1 GB of RAM device is capable of performing all day to day functions smoothly however we feel at this price point processor and RAM could have been better. For storage you will get 8 GB internal memory which is expandable upto 128 GB via Micro SD card.
We didn't faced any lag during our review period in day to day use, gaming experience is quite good however extensive games such as Asphalt 8 did tested device's true potential and we faced minor lag here and there.
Camera
The OPPO Mirror 3 features an 8 megapixel SONY IMX179 Backside Illuminated (BSI) sensor, with a sensor size of 1/3.2 inches and a pixel size of 1.4µm, as well as a large F/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and Blue Light Filter (BLF). The OPPO Mirror 3 far outperforms its rivals in terms of the sheer quality of the front camera with its 5MP capability, the golden shooting angle design, and unique Beautify function. OPPO has overhauled its unique Pure Image Engine, the brain of the camera. It utilizes new PI 2.0+ technology, and provides an intuitive and pick-up and play format for users to turn their photos from idea to reality.
The unique PI 2.0+ technology brings many interesting camera features to the OPPO Mirror 3. Verdict
Mirror 3 is a perfect example of style and elegance, with powerful camera and other features. If you want to stand out from the crowd and appreciate high quality design, camera and features above numbers on specification sheet then you are looking at one of the best phones to suit you right now, however for those looking for high end specifications Mirror 3 is going to disappoint you.
