NexGTv partners with Fluence to produce celebrity led Mobile Serials

Digivive's flagship mobile streaming application NexGTv signed a deal with CA Media Digital's  India's leading celebrity digital network Fluence. The deal will have Fluence produce and create Celebrity led serials for NexGTv.

Elaborating on the tie-up Mr. G. D. Singh, Director & CEO, Digivive said, “Mobile is increasingly becoming the preferred platform of consumption for Indian consumers and reports indicate that this consumption is further poised to grow significantly, as the average person is expected to watch TV and Video content (at least once a month) on 2.13 devices, up from 1.53 last year. Our intention is to articulate and address the needs of this rapidly growing and discerning mobile audience with mobile-first content”.

Mr G.D. Singh also said to Economic Times  "Everyone has been trying to create a House of Cards like Netflix and we have taken the first step in creating a series of such original programming". That pretty much tells what the service would likely be and will be competing against another video on Demand service HOOQ launched recently in India.

The partnership has leading digital space pioneers in terms of mobile viewership in from of NexGTv on one hand and on the other hand we have Fluence, who handles social media accounts, endorsements, mobile monetisation of more than a score celebrities which includes names such as Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.

To start with Fluence will co-produce first mobi series with Endemol Shine India, the series is expected to have one of the celebrity stars of Fluence and will have 14 episodes , 10 minutes each.
