9Apps OnTV app allows users to create and share their own breaking news

9Apps, the world's leading third party Android app store, announced the launch of a fun and exciting app named 9Apps OnTV for its Indian consumers. The application gives user the option to create their own breaking news and share it on their social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp. The app was launched by Indian Reality show television celebrity couple Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna.

Company will donate money on every download of application to Prayas, a social welfare society which is supported by Karishma and Upen. Prayas works for the betterment of women and children of economically weaker section of the society.

Talking about the new app, Simon Shi, Head of 9Apps said, “Our aim is to make your mobile experience diverse and colourful. Money donated by 9Apps will work towards imparting free education to poor and deprived girl children. Prayas will work with the two-fold objective of developing basic education for street children and of preventing children in difficulties from ending up on the streets.
