YU founder Rahul Sharma announced his brand's foray into wearable market by launching two fitness and Health tracking gadgets named YUFIT and HEALTHYU. The launch came along with launch of Yuphoria, second smartphone from YU.

YUFIT is a tough competitor to Mi Band which was launched recently with same price tag of Rs 999/. However YUFIT has a clear advantage over the former on many fronts and the most dominating factor is the YUFIT band comes with an LCD display which works as clock, alarm, reminders along with the regular fitness brand thing. The second device from the company is a first of its kind health tracking gadget. The device is smart and real easy to use at same time. The cassete size device can fix on any smartphone and connect to it via bluetooth. With a simple touch, the sensor starts working and begin testing the vitals. The vitals we are talking about here are the Heart Rate, Respiration Rate, Blood Pressure and Body Temprature along with an ECG report and blood oxygen saturation level.

  

The device connects perfectly with the HEALTHYU app through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. Available on the App Store and YU devices, the app after successful installation, will pair with HEALTHYU sensor device to determine the ideal range of body vitals for the users based on their personal information such as gender, age, weight and height. To top it all, the device will help the user understand their health better by sorting the readings on a timeline and enable them to maintain a health journal for keeping a track of their well-being over a longer time period.

30 seconds is all what it takes to track ones health once setup properly. A White LED on the Power Switch glows for 30 seconds after the users turn it ON and hence enables the consumers to take reading within these 30 seconds. After the recording duration ends, one can see the Reading Card, which shows the measured values corresponding to each body vital and share it with doctors / friends/peers at just the click of a button.
