CES 2015 is just 2 days away , where leading brands in Electronics industrly  from all over the world  will showcase their best innovative products for the year. While top notch brands are silent about their products and waiting to unveil in the event, Alcatel is not shying from lifting the curtain to some extent. As per the news Alcatel is planning to make a foray into smartwatch segment with its - Alcatel One Touch Watch, and it has also announced , new range of smartphones dubbed PIXI 3. The company will launch this series of PIXI3 smartphones in CES2015.

All we know about new range of smartphones is that it will come in four different sizes of range between 3.5 inch to 5 inches, while other specifications are believed to remain constant the only difference is that 3.5 inch variant will be 3G ready smartphone while others will support 4G LTE. PIXI series is compatible with Android, Windows and Firefox OS, however it is unknown how the OS selection will be done and installed as of now. I personally feel that a software to flash all three OS and build for each OS (pre installed OS of choice for non geeks) with phone will make it more convenient and fun to try out different Operating systems, FireFox OS will be least preferred choice otherwise.

Other specifications of smartphone remain unknown at this point of time it will be made public during launch event.

The smartwatch:

The Alcatel One Touch smartwatch will be unveiled in CES 2015, going by the marketing image released by company one can easily make that the full circular smartwatch unlike Motorola's G watch looks glorious and comes with four strap options. The smartwatch is expected to be low on price as other competitors wearables comes with a huge price tag and Alcatel says that the device is what is needed today with blend of good looks and necessary hardware it is priced smartly.
The smartwatch is expected to come preloaded with sensors and apps to monitor daily activities and would also be able to control music, take photos and receive notifications. The inner specifications of smartwatch are still unknown and we look forward to CES 2015 to get more information about the same.
