Micromax unveils Unite2 priced at Rs6,999 , will compete directly with Moto E

Micromax announced its multi-language support phone Unite 2 today for a price of Rs 6999 which makes it a direct competitor to Moto E. Let's see what this phone has inside it, whether it stands ahead of Moto E or its just another average handset.

Micromax Unite 2 (Surprisingly Unite is not launched yet) is the first smartphone which supports 21 Languages which include Hindi, English, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati and Bengali. Unite 2 is the first handset from Micromax which runs on latest Android Kitkat OS.  Company said that Unite2 will be easily up-gradable thru FOTA.

Language is no longer a barrier now to express yourself, Reverie Multilingual pack in the phone supports 21 Indian regional languages which are   Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, Nepali, Bodo, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Maithili, Manipuri, Sanskrit, Sindhi. After grand success of Micromax Canvas series company is not leaving no stone unturned to capture Indian as well as global smartphone market.

Coming to technical specifications of phone Unite 2 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, powered by 1.3 GHz Quadcore Mediatek processer coupled with Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 4.7 inch bright IPS display, 480*800 pixel resolution. Unite 2 comes with 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM, external memory card support upto 32 GB. On  Camera front device sports a 5 MP autofocus rear camera with options such as HDR, horizontal and vertical panorama, live image. For connectivity Unite 2 supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and GPS. Unite 2 is fueled by 2000 mAh strong battery.

Specifications are impressive for this price however the credibility Motorola has built recently with its Moto G, Moto X and Moto E, is commendable and we have to see whether Micromax would succeed in building that confidence.
