OnePlus a tech startup founded in December 2013 by ex Oppo vice president Pete Lau announced its first Android based smartphone on Wednesday and the first device from OnePlus is named One Plus One (not to be confused with any other [HTC]one ) . First device from company is priced at just $299 for 16 GB version and $349 for 64 GB variant. Now the question is why this device is nick named as Flagship Killer?
Answer to the question is simple. One plus One comes with specifications and features which are available on big flagship devices which costs around $600. In terms of specs and features One Plus One is equivalent to other flagship devices. One plus one is a complete package of powerful hardware engineered to get exciting features and user experience.
Following company's motto of Never Settle , One plus one boasts of industry leading design, superb build quality, and disruptive price point, the company said on Wednesday on launch event.
At core of mobile are hardware partnered by Qualcomm and Software powered by Cyanogen Inc, the company which makes Android more customized and suitable for old and new phones to make it more feature rich and give user more control on the settings than ever before.

OnePlus One is powered by 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor with Adreno 330 GPU supported by 3 GB RAM and supports LTE as well, User have two options for memory viz. 16 GB and 64 GB.
On Camera front this device comes with 13 MP Sony Exmor rear camera which is equipped with 6 physical layers of lenses to make it suitable in any situation. Front camera is a 5MP distortion free camera. There are three mics used in device to identify, isolate and enhance user's voice and simultaneously filter out the background noise.
OnePlus One sports 5.5 inch Full HD LTPS IPS display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass3. It is equipped with sensors such as Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Ambient Light sensor. This extremely sleek device is powered by 3100 mAh LiPo battery.
On front screen below display 3 capacitive buttons are placed which can be turned off and user can switch on the on screen buttons giving users more freedom and enhanced user experience. Not to mention device supports GPS/GLONASS, WiFi, Bluetooth.

The phone runs on a custom CynogenMod based on Android 4.4. CynogenMod gives users more control over their devices with options like Quitehours, enhanced home screens, configurable quick settings panel. User can choose from many themes available and also customize themes in part such as re sizing of icons, different fonts , color combinations etc.
