Indian handset maker XOLO has revealed its latest addition to Q series on its official website as XOLO Q1100. Lates XOLO offers features and specs similar to latest buzz maker Moto G. However there is no word on availability of Q1100 yet from XOLO.
XOLO Q1100 is similar to Moto G in specifications except some minor differences.
Both devices have similar price tag. XOLO Q1100 runs on Android 4.3 out of the box and is powered by 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC (MSM8228 unlike Moto G's MSM8226) quad core processor which is slightly higher than Moto G. Q1100 is also powered by 1GB RAM and Adreno 305 GPU clocked at 450 MHz under the hood as Moto G.
Q1100 sports 5 inch HD IPS display with OGS and 720p resolution, this translates to pixel density of 294 ppi, whereas Moto G comes with a 4.5 inch display. On camera front also Q1100 has upper hand than its competitor as it comes with a 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and BSI2 sensor, and 2 megapixel camera at front to support seamless video chatting. Coming to memory front Q1100 comes with 8 GB internal storage which can be further extended using micro SD card.'
On sensors front Q1100 is jeweled with Accelerometer , Magnetometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor. Q1100 has all standard connecting features such as v2.0 High Speed USB, BT 3.0 bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.
XOLO Q1100 is fueled 2000 mAh strong battery which gives total 2G talk time up to 24 hours as claimed by company.
While Moto G 8GB version is available on FlipKart for INR 12499/- , XOLO has its own advantages for slightly more price.
XOLO has stood out among home grown handset makers for its quality and performance oriented devices however it is still not as successful as Micromax, where as Moto G comes from a trusted brand with guaranteed update for Android 4.4 kitkat version. As per predictions Moto G's limited stock can help XOLO gain some additional buyers.
