Micromax's latest 7" tablet Funbook P280 launched for Rs 4,650

India's second largest manufacturer Micromax today officially announced launch of its new tablet in FubBook series i.e. Funbook P280. Latest tablet is targeted for the customers who are seeking seamless experience on the move. Funbook P280 is priced at Rs 4,650/- on Micromax's official website. Funbook P280 has all the features one can get at this price range. P280 comes with 7" TFT display, powered by 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 single core processor supported by 512 RAM and runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 out of the box.

Along with the device company is giving sleek and beautiful detachable keyboard and premium leather case to enhance users experience and device safety.

P280 is powered by 2400 mAh strong battery which is enough for playing games and  browsing internet as device does not support voice calling facility. Device is backed by 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB using external SD card. Tablet supports 3G dongle and WiFi for internet connectivity.
P280 disappoints on camera front as it comes with only VGA rear camera.

With loads of applications to download from Google Play Store, P280 comes with some pre loaded apps such as M!Live for latest online, videos, games, music and news; Spuul to stream latest blockbuster movies and TV shows; Opera Mini for superior browsing experience and Kingsoft Office Suite to manage all assignments on the go.

With the decline of PC market and increase in tablet demand Micromax P280 is for the masses with decent specs and affordable price. However we feel Micromax could have done better in terms of display and RAM front.

Priced at Rs. 4,650/-, Funbook P280 would be available across all leading retail outlets in India from 11th February 2014.

Overall we would say P280 is better than many other tablets present in market for the same price segment. What do you think? Do leave your comments on this.
