After Grand success of Samsung Galaxy Grand, Samsung is all set to launch Grand2 which comes with even more Grand specifications than its predecessor. Grand was among most popular smartphones launched this year , thanks to brand Samsung and Grand marketing. Grand 2 comes with larger screen and more RAM, bigger battery , more Powerful processor.
Samsung will launch Grand2 at an event in Mumbai on December 23. It is running a online promotion #EverydayGrand on twitter. As per media reports the device would be priced somewhere between Rs 19,000 and Rs 21,000 which comes under same segment as its predecessor.
The new Galaxy Grand 2 will come with 5.25 inch HD screen, 1.2 GHz quad core processor. On memory front it comes with 8 GB internal storage and External storage can be expanded upto 64 GB via memory card, 1.5 GB RAM. The smartphone has an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and comes with 1.9 MP camera in front. Grand2 supports dual sim, 2G, 3G, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB 2.0 for connectivity. It is powered by 2600 mAH strong battery and is claimed to provide 17 hrs of talktime.
Grand 2 runs on Android 4.3 and offers multi window support as its predecessor, large screen makes it easier and fun to run two applications simultaneously in two windows or even same application in different windows. Apart from this it comes with pre-installed Samsung's proprietary apps like Story Album, S Travel, Samusng Hub, S Translator, Samsung Link, Sound & Shot, Group Play.
Samsung Grand2 will compete against Sony Xperia C, Micromax Canvas Turbo, Canvas 4, LG G Pro Lite, Xolo Q3000 and its own Galaxy Grand Duos as well.
