Help Google to make Maps in India Better and stand a chance to win cool gadgets.

Google has announced a contest named "Mapathon" for Indians to improve Indian maps on Google . Contest will start on 12th Feb 2013 and it ends on 25th March 2013. Any one who lives in India can take part in the contest. In this contest participants have to add new places, roads, land marks, shortcuts etc alternatively participants can edit already existing places also in Maps. All entries would be reviewed by Google Map Maker Team and points would be given based on their judgement. Users should login with their Google Account in Google Map Maker to take part in contest.


No need to worry if you haven't used Google Map Maker before, at the time of registration you can access simple tutorials on how to add or edit places, roads , shortcuts in Map Maker.
