What a week for smart phone lovers this is, recently Micromax launched its Canvas HD  with power packed specifications at very reasonable price, today Samsung has launched similar phablet Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos.While Micromax's phablet is priced less than Rs 15K Samsung priced Galaxy Grand for Rs 21,500. Let's see how worth is it when compared to Canvas HD.

Tie areas of Rear Camera and Connectivity can still be considered to favour Samsung keeping track record in mind (features in terms of software ), but this does not stops Micromax to emerge as winner for providing decent specification in such a low price. No doubt Samsung is providing some nice softwares from Galaxy Note II and SIII like multiwindow, Direct Call, Smart Stay but alternatives are always available on Google Play Store.

Time for you to think what factors you consider to buy your new smart gadget among these two.

    Does any of these phones will have TV/HDMI out,
    either through direct port or adapter or MHL thru Micro-USB-port->HDMI !?
    That's a key thing most of the people would be interested!

    Motorola Atrix 2 would have it. And in Flipkart, you can now get it for <17k.

    Advantage of Canvas HD over Atrix2 are quad core processor over dual core, 5 inch HD display over 4.3 inch tft display, 2100mAH battery over 1785 mAH battery, Canvas comes with 4.1 jelly bean upgradable to 4.2 but Atrix can be upgraded till ICS i.e. 4.0.4 version of Android.

    If one can ignore all these things then Atrix2 is also good option for price mentioned by Uday.

      Samsung is more trusted and reliable for after sales service. However Micromax too has service centeres in major cities.
