Google conquering cyber world: One more step

Preface
Google is trying every thing to anything to dominate cyber space. From search engine to web browser, operating systems to smart gadgets, email services, video channel, social networking, Maps etc etc.
Now Google has started its ecommerce services as well, no we are not talking about Google Wallets here. We are talking about something different that is Zavers


Background
Online coupons are not new in cyber world to allow you save some money while shopping online. How about getting discounts in shopping at malls, grocery stores etc that too without carrying any printed coupons. We all are familiar with sites offering coupons which can be used at various online ecommerce sites to get some discount. We have sites offering deals as well in your city such as SnapDeal.com , ebay deals in which you can purchase coupons for some amount and get discount in turn.

What's different in Zavers
Zavers has the same idea but different approach , it is very simple and user friendly. Zavers allows users to create an account in which they provides their mobile number, zip code along with other basic details such as name address etc.
Once logged in users can search for different categories such as Beverage, health care , house hold. If user likes any offer just click on save it. Now like this you can collect coupons which will be associated with your mobile number, when you visit store just show these coupons on your mobile and get discounts. No tension of printing deals, applying online etc.

Apart from this, Zavers provides real time tracking for coupon redemption which makes it easier for retailers to manage and track effectiveness of their coupon which in turn helps them to make further strategies such as revision in discount or rewarding loyal customers.

Why I cannot use it
Just one and most important reason why i cant cheer for Zavers is , It is only available in U.S.

Opportunity for Startups
But I am hopeful if Google doesn't come up shortly, some Indian start up will come forward to cash in this idea. As I have seen in many places people asking for online coupon startups this will be different from conventional coupons and more effective I believe.
