Samsung India Electronics launched Galaxy S6 Edge+ the premium smartphone in India today. The phone boasts of 5.7 inch Quad HD super AMOLED display with a dual curved screen to give a distinct appeal to the device. Galaxy S6 Edge + differs with its predecessor Galaxy S6 Edge in two aspects which are the screen size and RAM, while the latest device comes with a 5.7 inch screen and 4 GB RAM, the S6 Edge has 5.1 inch screen and 3 GB RAM.

The phone is priced at a whopping amount of ₹57,900/- and will be available in gold platinum and silver titanium colors, the device comes with power packed specifications with in house Exynos octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, which should make multitasking work like a breeze. The large screen with curved edges on both sides and slim bezels makes the phone look stunning but is there really a use case of dual curved screen only time can tell when we users start adopting the mega phone. On camera side the phone comes with a 16 MP camera with OIS and front camera of 5 MP.
To fuel the device there is 3000 mAh strong battery with Fast charging in both wired and wireless modes, Wireless charging compatible with WPC and PMA. On connectivity front the phone supports all latest options which include MIMO(2x2), Bluetooth Low energy, ANT+, USB 2.0 , NFC and LTE. The list of sensors is not short either , the phone comes with Accelerometer, Proximity, RGB Light, GeoMagnetic, Gyro, Fingerprint, Barometer, Hall and HRM sensors on board.
The Edge is enriched with the new 'Apps edge' for easy access to five most favourite apps and 'Peoples Edge' to connect with your favourite contacts via different means such as call, message or emails.
The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and comes with real cool features, one of the highlighted feature is the live video broadcast in HD quality on Youtube live where anyone having the link for the event will be able to see it live. The advanced camera system includes features such as Quick
Launch (double click the home button to launch the camera in less than
one second*), Auto Real-time High Dynamic Range (HDR), and Smart Optical
Image Stabilization (OIS) and brand-new filters. The F1.9 aperture
on both cameras allows users to click crisp photos even in low light
conditions.
