Oppo announced online contest ScavengeR5 ahead of R5 launch

Recently Oppo announced that its latest and slimmest smartphone from R series i.e. Oppo R5 will hit in India in the month of December itself. Oppo R5 was unveiled in a global launch event along with N3. R5 is expected to be priced between 25,000 to 30,000 INR.

Oppo R5 is the slimmest smartphone to launch in India, and was the slimmest smartphone in the world when it was announced. Oppo R5 has its frame made of stainless steel unlike conventional aluminium alloy frame, Oppo claims the frame to be un-bendable despite of being just 4.85 mm thin and takes a jibe on Apple's bend gate with "say no to bending" remark.
